Lessons for Intermediates
Since most cities have implemented a "stay home" policy to combat the spread of Covid-19, I am offering you piano lessons on line. When you sign up for online lessons, you will create a user name and password which will allow you to log in to the site, access all the required materials necessary to complete the course. All online courses are given using Zoom so it is recommended you have a webcam and microphone. The instructors screen is configured to allow you to see the instructor, the keyboard and the notes being played.
My goal for my students is for them to love music and enjoy having music in their lives. As a teacher, I enjoy watching my students not only become better musicians but grow as individuals. Gaining confidence, learning commitment, and having fun are just a few benefits that come from music lessons. I am an extremely patient and encouraging teacher who is willing to work with each student to meet their goals. I want my piano students to gain life skills they will use the rest of their lives.

My goal is to provide a systematic and comprehensive plan to develop performance skill, finger technique, ear-training, sight-reading skills, and understanding of music theory. Learn to create the characteristic sounds of the latest contemporary songs you hear on the radio every day and more. You will be taught Jazz Piano theory. Valuable insight to theorizing, chord accompanying, and improvising that are the heart of jazz piano.
